Meet the Speaker (Ergonomics and Energy Efficient Office Lighting: A Two Component Approach)
	David Shepard, MBA, IESNA, Industry Partner ASID and National Sales Manager for Luxo, brings over a decade of experience in lighting and the associated issues and opportunities related to energy.  He has worked closely with a wide variety of energy stakeholders and conservation groups, including DOE, CLTC, LBNL, PNNL and major utilities across the country.  Dave conducts specialized training for architects and designers on balancing strict energy codes such as Title 24 and ASHRAE 90.1 with design aesthetics and proper light levels.  Known industrywide for challenging specifiers to “Be Green, Don’t Just Talk Green”, Dave is recognized as an industry expert on all aspects of energy-efficient office lighting, including task lighting.   Dave has successfully collaborated with major furniture manufacturers such as Haworth, Herman Miller, Knoll and Allsteel on various products and projects throughout North America.   .
